Welcome to eShop manual

Here you will find the manual for OXID eShop. With the menu to the left you can navigate to the different chapters.

For new eShop users

If you are new to OXID eShop, you will find installation instructions in Installing OXID eShop. The first steps show some basic settings in the eShop admin. Afterwards, you can start inserting your own products to your eShop.

Managing eShop

In Creating and managing products, everything concerning products is described: Creating products, managing products in categories, upload product pictures, managing product stocks and much more.

In Administer eShop all other settings are explained: Setting shipping costs and payment methods, discounts and vouchers, managing orders and more.

If you are planning to update your eShop to a newer version, accordant instructions are available in Upgrade/update eShop.

Changing design of eShop

If you want to adapt the design of your eShop, you will find what you need in Change design of eShop. There is especially a lot of information about adapting templates.

For developers

Information for developers is provided outside of this manual in Oxidforge. Important content is the sourcecode documentation and the database scheme of the OXID eShop Community Edition.
