Product pictures: Basics

You have the option of uploading multiple images for each product. The images must be copied from your computer to the server on which OXID eShop runs. This operation is referred to as uploading.

Adapting the size of product pictures

If product pictures are too large, they are reduced automatically to a defined size. This prevents interference with the eShop design caused bypictures that are too large. You can specify the maximum size of product pictures. This is primarily of interest if you want to adapt the design of the OXID eShop.

Uploading product pictures

To upload product pictures, select Administer Products -> Products and open Pictures tab.

Here, you will find many entry fields for pictures. Each image has two entry fields:
