During the ordering process, users can choose how they want to pay for the order: a payment method can be selected in ordering step 3.

Payment methods are managed under Shop Settings -> Payment Methods. Here, new payment methods can be set up and existing payment methods can be edited.

You have the following options for offering payment methods only to certain users:

  • Via the Min. Credit Rating setting. The payment method is only displayed to users whose credit index is greater than or equal to this setting. You can assign a credit index to each user.
  • Via Assign User Groups. The payment method is then displayed only to users who belong to the selected user groups.

A fee for a payment method can be set up easily: you can enter the fees in the Price Surcharge/Discount field.

The following example will set up the cash on delivery payment method. A cash on delivery fee of EUR 7.50 will be set up.

Payment methods can be specified in such a way that the purchase price is reduced.

The following example will set up the advance payment method. A 2% cash discount will be calculated for the advance payment (2 percent will be subtracted from the purchase price).

To manage payment methods, select Shop Settings -> Payment Methods. All available payment methods are displayed in the top half. Click a payment method to edit its settings in the bottom half.
