Freiburg, 04/28/2014 - OXID eSales AG invites participants to the sixth edition of the OXID Commons conference exhibition for e-Commerce at Messe Freiburg on May 22. Customers, partners and the OXID sales team will convene at the event to discuss current developments, state-of-the-art technology and strategies. Numerous interesting sessions with renowned market experts such as Jochen Krisch, Johannes Altmann, Lars Jankowfsky and Malte Wilkes promise to be a special treat for their audiences. Around 60 exhibiting partner companies are expected to attend. Speakers from Murrelektronik, LODEN-FREY, Unilever Food Solutions, design3000, babymarkt.de, HERMA and many other OXID customers will demonstrate successful approaches to e-Commerce. This year will again include the presentation of the "GOLDEN CART 2014" for outstanding shop solutions based on the OXID platform as an exhibition highlight.
The sixth edition of the e-Commerce conference exhibition OXID Commons will take place at Messe Freiburg on May 22, 2014. The OXID Commons offer a platform for all relevant segments of online commerce; it is a convention for e-Commerce strategists, solution partners, online traders, and experts from the fields of Open Source, development, cross-channel, market trends and enterprise technologies. "The OXID Commons address both decision-makers and specialists from sales and marketing, as well as those who prepare the route to e-Commerce at a managerial level", explains OXID eSales CEO Roland Fesenmayr. The OXID Commons comprises two different program channels: one of them deals with the topics of Business Models and e-Commerce strategies, whilst the other addresses Best Practice trends and hands-on technology subjects for developers and shop operators. This year, the Business Channel will be hosted by Frank Puscher. The focal points will include cross-channel, internationalization, market place strategies, front-end design, customer centricity and B2BCommerce. Workshops in which small groups will focus on important topics are a new feature for 2014. As in past years, the combination of exhibition, convention, award show and evening party event promises new impulses, innovative solutions and many new contacts. Presentation of the "GOLDEN CART 2014" award
As in previous years, one highlight of the event will be the presentation of the "GOLDEN CART" awards in five categories. The renowned and coveted award is presented to shop operators and their implementation partners. The jury consists of reputable experts from the field of e-Commerce. Andrea Seeger, chair of OXID eSales AG: "Solutions are evaluated from a holistic viewpoint: the overall appearance, power of innovation and the complexity and challenges facing project implementation. Other criteria include technical implementation, design, branding, marketing and customer orientation."
OXID Unconference for developers
Following the OXID Commons event, many developers will convene to participate in the OXID Unconference on May 23. The day is dedicated to exchanging to programming and project experiences relating to the OXID platform. The purchase price of a ticket to the OXID Commons includes free access to the Unconference on the next day.
