OXID partners ready for Enterprise and B2B

Freiburg, 12.11.2013 - Around 200 invitees attended the Partner Day 2013 hosted by e-commerce solution provider OXID eSales AG at the Concert House in Freiburg. The OXID team presented the company's corporate strategy, product road map and innovations to partners from the fields of solutions, hosting, platform and strategy. Focal points: Enterprise market, B2B and multi-channel commerce. OXID actively supports the success of its partners through new solutions such as OXID for SAP, new partners such as the same-day logistics company Tiramizoo.de and customer-focused lead management. The OXID Partner Day was rounded off by an exhibition and an opportunity to network during an evening event held at a local vineyard.
"OXID eSales AG has always banked on cooperating closely with its solution partners ever since its foundation ten years ago. Our best mutual opportunities for growth lie in the market for medium to large companies and corporations and in inter-company trading", says Roland Fesenmayr, CEO of OXID eSales AG. The Freiburg-based company has designed its partner program accordingly and last year introduced the Enterprise Level category. Although qualifying for this partner status demands a great deal of know-how and personnel resources, 18 of more than 100 partners have already made the grade.
OXID supports its partners through its Lead Management program that focuses exclusively on the benefits derived by OXID customers. This focus is also reflected in the CO-Marketing programs for partners such as the Euroshop, Internet World and OXID Commons (08.05.2014) trade shows as well as the B2B compendium currently under development. OXID partners can also rely on OXID Professional Services to provide support and assistance with complex, resource-intensive or very demanding projects. "Our partners have made ample use of OXID Professional Services since its launch in 2012 - be it for demanding projects or to supplement specific skills and competences", says Markus Baars, Partner Manager at OXID eSales AG.
Solutions for medium to large companies and corporations
The greater the turnover achieved by dealers and manufacturers, the higher the burden on the e-commerce platform. The OXID eShop 5.0 EE and the peak load option developed by OXID provide the technical basis for the necessary performance, and Berlin-based hosting provider SysEleven GmbH recently measured the increase in performance during load tests: in comparison to its predecessor, Version 5.0 can handle ten times the amount of page requests per second and page construction is now ten times as fast.
OXID for SAP is now available to partners and enables them to get SAP users into the world of e-commerce quickly and smoothly. The bundle developed in cooperation with partner commerce4sap comprises an OXID eShop Enterprise Edition pre-configured for SAP together with SAP-certified middleware: Online-Shop and SAP ERP are seamlessly connected and exchange data bi-directionally. Whether stationary, online or mobile: the non-SAP solution gets SAP customers off to a quick start in e-commerce. Other module-based (OXID eFire Extension) functional extensions to the OXID platform are also available for QR shopping, shop translations, payment modes, data quality, PIM integration and logistics.
