The instructions for the SCHIESSER online shop relaunch were clear: The shop needed to be made future-proof once again, and needed to cope with the rapidly increasing number of customers who shop using their smartphones or tablets. The responsive approach had been followed 100% during the first relaunch. The second relaunch focussed on “mobile first”, and its goal was to optimise usability and turn the brand into an experience.
This was achieved using the latest OXID eShop. The source code and all modules underwent extensive refactoring for optimum performance of the online shop. The latest frontend technologies deliver the user interface for all common browsers and device sizes. The collaboration with experienced OXID Partners resulted in a high-performance shop that is capable of fully satisfying customer wishes. Mission accomplished!
