The instructions for OXID Partner kuehlhaus for the SCHIESSER online shop relaunch was clear: The shop needed to be made future-proof once again, and needed to cope with the rapidly increasing number of customers who shop using their smartphones or tablets. The responsive approach had been followed 100% during the first relaunch. The second relaunch focussed on “mobile first”, and its goal was to optimise usability and make the brand into an experience.
This was achieved using the latest OXID eShop. The source code and all modules underwent extensive refactoring for optimum performance of the online shop. The latest frontend technologies deliver the user interface for all common browsers and device sizes. In collaboration with eFulfilment, econda and FACT-Finder a high-performance shop that is capable of fully satisfying customer wishes. Mission accomplished!
