What are OXID Components?
Components extend the technical infrastructure of your OXID eShop and can also bring standalone features. They work in the background, without activation in the admin and without per-subshop configuration. As a type of technical library, they improve core functions such as mail delivery, caching or template rendering and take effect platform-wide immediately.
Platform-wide effect
Components are automatically active in all subshops, without manual activation and without separate configuration. Install once, available everywhere.
Invisible in Admin
Components don't appear in the shop admin and require no settings. They extend core functions directly, without additional administrative overhead.
Extends the Core
Components improve fundamental system functions like mail delivery, caching or rendering. They are technical building blocks.
