The OXID standard supports multiple delivery addresses, but only one billing address, no separate billing email and no mandatory fields that adapt to the customer type. The Address Book OPAL fills exactly these gaps – for business customers as well as private customers with several billing entities.

Multiple billing addresses with a default
Multiple billing addresses per customer, with a freely selectable default address. Optionally, a default can also be set for delivery addresses.
Manage addresses in the account
Saved billing addresses are listed in the customer account; the default address is marked. Customers can make another address the default or delete a non-default address – each with an ownership check.
B2B/B2C mandatory-field logic
The customer type is derived from the VAT ID; depending on business or private customer, the matching mandatory fields apply and are checked before saving.
Separate billing email
A billing email that differs from the login email, with double-entry confirmation. Leaving it empty removes the override again.
Billing email per order
On order completion the value is copied to the order, so downstream billing and dunning modules see the right recipient. The value is also editable in the admin (user master data).
Hook for other modules
Other modules – e.g. for e-invoicing or dunning – can reuse the stored billing data (recipient email and customer type). Interworking with the e-invoicing module is built in.
